While I'm in the process of getting a legitimate website off the ground, I might as well try to give this blogging/career advancement thing a shot. It's been two years since my last post and my last real entry. I sort of want to get rid of all the old stuff thats here. Got a lot of work, both professional and personal from the beginning of this new decade. I'm gonna start putting up what I can soon.
The biggest news is that I've gotten my first professional, paid comics work, as a colorist. I've fallen in love with color over the last two years, both in traditional painting/illustration and with computer coloring.
My first work was for AMC TV's tie in online motion comic to their Prisoner remake miniseries. The show was so-so, but the comic's great. Check it out. I had the great fortune of coloring over Cliff Richards's pencils. And the great misfortune of following work by the phenomenal Mitch Breitweiser. One of my personal heroes, who I actually suggested for the job.

Chapters 6-10 feature my colors.
My second and most recent work was color assists on Red Mass for Mars #4, written by one of my absolute favorite writers, Jonathan Hickman, with pencils by the fabulous Ryan Boddenheim.
You can see a preview of the finished art here:

I'll start posting work from these projects, as well the contents of my sketchbook and some painting, ASAP. But content yourselves with that for now.
In addition to that, I'm finally trying to grease the gears on launching a webcomic, as soon as we can settle on the right story. (Aint that always the rub?)
So stay tuned. This time's there words to be said, and pictures to be seen.
